Download and open
Download DeskSpider.exe and open it on both computers. No installation is needed for occasional help.
Share the ID and password
The person receiving help shares their 9-digit ID and connection password with someone they trust.
Approve the connection
Accept the request and start the session. You can end it from the computer receiving help.

Is DeskSpider free?
Yes, DeskSpider is free to download and use. To provide support, the app requests an activation key; contact us to request one. Activation does not require a paid licence. Receiving help does not require a key.
Do I need to install it?
For occasional help, open DeskSpider.exe. To keep it ready, use “Install on this computer” inside the app.
Which computers are supported?
This download is for 64-bit Windows. It is not a version for macOS, Linux, mobile devices or 32-bit Windows. Both computers need an Internet connection.
Can I connect when nobody is there?
Yes, after setting up unattended access with a password. Installation lets you enable the Windows service for access without signing in.
How are access attempts protected?
Assisted sessions require approval. Unattended access uses a password and temporarily blocks access after repeated incorrect attempts.
